Dan was appointed to the Board of Directors of Coril Holdings Ltd. in July 2025, bringing extensive leadership experience, a strong commitment to values-based governance, and deep expertise in family business.

He currently serves as Chairman of James Richardson & Sons, Limited (JRSL), a private, family-owned Canadian enterprise with operations in agriculture, energy, real estate, financial services, and transportation. Dan has played a central role in shaping JRSL’s long-term direction, joining the Board in 2019, advancing to Vice-Chair in 2021, and becoming Chairman in 2025.

Dan is also Vice President & Chief Legal Officer at True North Sports + Entertainment, where he oversees legal and business matters for the organization and its operations, including the Winnipeg Jets and the Manitoba Moose. Prior to joining the company, he practiced law at a leading Canadian firm in Calgary.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to civic engagement and long-term community impact, Dan actively contributes to several organizations in Winnipeg. He serves as Vice-Chair of the Assiniboine Park Conservancy, is a Trustee of United Way Winnipeg, and is a member of the University of Manitoba’s President’s Advisory Council.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Calgary.
