Dean joined Coril Holdings Ltd. in January 2026 as Vice President & General Counsel, bringing more than 25 years of legal and executive experience to the Group. Dean is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta and has built his career advising on securities, corporate law, real estate transactions and governance for both private and public enterprises. 

Prior to joining Coril, Dean served as Vice President & General Counsel at a private family office in Calgary, and previously held the role of Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Boardwalk REIT, Canada’s second largest owner and operator of multi-family rental communities. During his tenure, Dean oversaw major acquisitions, debt financings, and public offerings, and led compliance with securities regulations and disclosure requirements. 

Dean’s leadership extends beyond legal affairs. He has directed strategic initiatives, including the development of supply chains and operational efficiencies for large-scale property renovations. Earlier in his career, Dean practiced law at Stikeman Elliott LLP, where he advised on significant corporate transactions and public company formations. 

Dean holds a law degree from the University of Alberta and he is committed to strengthening Coril’s governance frameworks, overseeing compensation programs, and supporting the Group’s strategic priorities.
